About Us

Launched in February 2006, Australian Catalogues was Australia's first online retail catalogue website and remains a market leader providing consumers with convenient direct access to a wide range of store and online shopping catalogues.

We offer consumers a simple, non-intrusive and easy way to view all their favourite catalogues and retailer information in a single location. Australian Catalogues is the only website where you can access catalogues from all of the top retailers including both Coles and Woolworths.

The Australian Catalogues website provides retailers with an excellent opportunity to drive both online and in-store traffic.

The retailers listed on our site range from large national retailers with hundreds of stores to unique independent stores. As an independently owned business, Australian Catalogues proudly supports small to medium-sized retailers by providing them with a no-frills, affordable and cost effective way to promote themselves alongside the big stores.

iNC Digital Partner

As an iNC Digital Media partner since 2010 we have been involved in online promotional campaigns for many of Australia’s leading retailers. Some of the advertisers we have promoted include:

Myer, Kmart, Target, Big W, Coles, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Snooze, Ikea, Freedom, David Jones, BCF, SuperCheap Auto, Bob Jane T-Marts.

We have also partnered in successful online campaigns for speciality retailers such as Edible Blooms and Wine Selectors, as well as locally based single store retailers in Sydney and Melbourne.

Supporting Independent Small & Medium-sized Retailers

We have introduced a new Discover Local feature aimed exclusively at offering Small & Medium-sized Retailers an affordable, highly effective way to promote themselves alongside leading retailers in front of an engaged audience. It will also provide shoppers with a great opportunity to discover and support independent retailers, either in-store or online.

We actively support our independent SMRs by providing an affordable "no-frills" platform to promote themselves on a high traffic website alongside Australia's leading retailers. It's a great way to compliment your existing advertising and reach a new audience.

Junk Mail Free Australia

Junk Mail Free Australia (JMFA)  is an initiative by Australian Catalogues to end the huge waste created by junk mail advertising by encouraging both advertisers and readers to support switching to “Online Catalogues, the Smart Choice”.

Each year in Australia over 6.4 Billion catalogues are thrown away unread.

Ending Junk Mail will not only benefit the environment, it will also save local councils $1.1 billion and retailers $18 billion over the next decade.

The JMFA initiative will involve partnering with retailers, local government, environmental organisations and the community to promote the benefits of going online for junk mail.

Launched in August 2017, the goal is to end all Junk Mail in Australia by 2020, making Australia the first developed country in the world to be Junk Mail Free.

Through our association with Junk Mail Free Australia (JMFA) , the Australian Catalogues brand is set to grow significantly over 2017/18 as we join with retailers and councils across Australia to encourage shoppers to access catalogues online. During 2018 we will join JMFA in partnering with councils across Australia to provide millions of households with "No Junk Mail" stickers as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of ending junk mail and going online.

Looking Ahead

Growth

The growth in visitors to the Australian Catalogues is being driven by a number of factors, including:

  •   Increasing number of retailers promoting online catalogues;
  •  Ongoing advances in technology resulting in a much improved online experience;
  • Increasing number of consumers accessing retail catalogues "on the go" using mobile devices with high-speed internet connections;
  • Proportion of senior citizens accessing retail information online is continually growing and many are comfortable using our simple, easy to navigate site.

The JMFA campaign will generate a significant increase in traffic as we partner with retailers and councils to encourage viewing catalogues online, promoting the Australian Catalogues website as a destination of choice for accessing online catalogues.
